Children & Youth Ministries
“We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Victory Christian Centre Children’s Ministries
Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God’s children, parents are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Here at Victory Christian Centre we too have a responsibility toward children. We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Every Sunday our crèche offers superb childcare for children up to 3 years of age. This is a place where infants and toddlers are brought into a loving and caring environment. Your child will experience God through Bible stories, action songs, prayer and craftwork.
We seek to partner with you to help your child make his/her first steps in knowing Jesus at this tender age. This is a facility that will allow the parents to enjoy our Sunday Services knowing that their child is in safe hands.
Victory Christian Centre Sunday School caters for children from nursery age right through to P7 (aprox 3 to 12 years old).
Our lessons help the children to know Jesus Christ, to learn from God and to live boldly for Him. We also play games, sing songs, do craft and generally have a lot of fun. Our dedicated team of teachers are all very experienced and take a real joy in getting to know each child and supporting them in the best way possible.
During the first half of the service children worship with the adult congregation, then leave to go to their Sunday School classes.
Victory Christian Centre, as a member church of the Assemblies of God in Great Britain, is committed to creating a safer culture of care to safeguard all children and vulnerable adults from harm. All children and vulnerable adults have a right to protection, and the needs of all people who may be particularly vulnerable (either permanently or temporarily) must be taken into account when considering their involvement in church life and the support that is offered to enable them to live fulfilling Christian lives”.
